Abstract

Introduction: The exercise and respiratory beyond smoking cessation are not pharmacological therapies adjuvants in the rehabilitation process of the asthmatic. The asthmatic presents physical restrictions, which make them less active, and consequently there is impairment of functional capacity. So, evaluate the responses of the heart through the kinetic behavior of CF in the transition home-exercise becomes vital, bringing us information about the integrity of the autonomic nervous system, once the speedy recovery of the HR and VO2 kinetic, demonstrate good general State of health while recoveries lentificadas associate cardiovascular mortality. The behavior of these variables must be taken into consideration in the asthmatic, previous studies suggest changes in the cardiovascular system of the asthmatic, with regard to control, especially in transition autonomic home-exercise (FCON). Objective: to evaluate and compare the response on the kinetics of heart rate (HR), in patients susceptible to asthma difficult to control, and healthy individuals during the Shuttle Endurance Test. Methods: prospective, transversal, with 14 controlled asthmatic adults and 8 healthy subjects aged 28,64+6,43 and 29,79+10,06 respectively. The individuals were submitted the following evaluations, pulmonary function test, heart rate variability (HRV), and Shuttle Incremental Test and Endurance. Results: The subjects of the asthmatic group showed a kinetics of FC decrease, and the DP below during the SWT. Conclusion: asthma patients presented on decrease kinetics in relation to healthy.
